Signing on from multiple computers
-
I think there might be a problem with CP when used from multiple computers. If I consistently use 1 computer, I can post messages without problems. On the other hand, if I connect from a different computer, I have to go into "My Settings" and save again. Then everything is OK, until I switch back to the first computer. Then I get to do the whole thing over again. It's just a little annoying:((

I have cookies enabled in my CP profile and on my computer! My name shows up in the upper left-hand corner leading me to believe that I AM logged in, but the forums act up.

This reminds me of the time i logged onto a college computer and started to browse amazon.co.uk. I was amazed to find that Amazon had logged me in under my friend's account. So how has his cookie been planted in my cookies folder then, i was thinking. I was even more amazed to find that i could access his account without being asked for the password first - i didn't even know this was possible. Must have been the proxy server caching the pages wrong or something. If he wasn't a mate i would have sent a few expensive presents to his house... :-D Simon Hey, it looks like you're writing a letter! Sonork ID 100.10024

I use at least 2 separate computers at work each day, and one at home, and I've never had a problem. Jon Sagara "Ninety percent of baseball is mental, the other half is physical." -- Yogi Bera
