Does anyone here know how to limit the number of threads IE opens? I was browsing through pView95.exe on my Windows 98 machine and was shocked when it displayed that a program of mine, which uses the Internet Explorer Webbrowser control, was using 23 threads! Is this not a problem in IE 6.0? I, so far, have refused to upgrade because Microsoft is pushing their services to hard for my taste... Every time I open Outlook Express it starts the MSN Explorer icon. Very annoying.

Who cares? Threads are lightweight and in-process. It makes the program more responsive and it has no correlation with memory usage (other than a very negligable amount). CodeGuy The WTL newsgroup: now over 1040 members! Be a part of it. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/wtl
