And boy there really are some on this site. What rationale do they use for voting people down? Are there MS people here who vote down comments that in any way cast any doubt on how great MS is? Seems to me that might be the case. Or there are a few fanboys here who really need to get a life. Either way I don't care. I'm kinda amused by it all. So go right on ahead and vote me a 1 for this too. :laugh:

I just went browsing my old comments... I don't find it surprising that most don't get graded, nor really that you tend to get either 1 or 5 if you pick up a grade at all (though it is interesting). Unless you spark major controversy, you either tick off one person or impress one person, and the rest shrug their shoulders and go on to the next controversy. I was surprised to find two 4's wandering out there. I guess that was the "I got a smile, but not a big one" grade. I'm open minded about Microsoft, but let me tell you one thing buddie, they write EXCELLENT development tools, and for the past 15 years have paid for my mortgage, cars house and luxury. And most of all, Enjoy it, don't get personal just go with the flow or leave the site. Blogless

People vote down your messages because of your inability to think. Just look at the message you just posted. You say the reason people vote you down is because there are "...MS people here who vote down comments that in any way cast any doubt on how great MS is?". You fail to consider (at least) two things, you could be wrong and your comments are based on subjective [^] opinions. My subjective opinion is that you are just an idiot. Tim Smith I'm going to patent thought. I have yet to see any prior art.

First of all I'm not your buddie (and it isn't spelt that way either) and secondly if you actually ready my posts you would quite easily see that I'm not knocking MS or anybody else. I have said many times that VC6 is the best c++ dev env bar none and I use it a lot. Happily. So please go find someone else to bother cos your really starting to irritate me.
