I *love* the DIlbert books and was reading one on the bus this morning and thought I'd share my favourite line from the 'Dilbert Future'. If you do not own this book, buy it now. 'If you were foolish enough to go to college and major in one of the soft arts such as journalism, English literature or music, you might have a bit of a shock coming. At best, those majors are excellent preperation for jobs that involve removing wine corks and condoms from the swimming pools of people who studied computer science. And even that is seasonal work. I'm probably overgeneralising. There are plenty of other jobs you can get if you have a degree in the squishy subjects, as long as you're not burdened by a lot of excess human dignity.' One in a local paper today was a foreign company taking over the company and they had the power to read minds etc etc. Wally says I'm not afraid, if they read my mind they will all go blind.
