Does anyone use Crystal Reports?
-
I'm working on a client server application. However I need to potentially integrate information from multiple data sources (i..e CRM, accounting packages, etc.) for reporting and analysis. Was wondering what types of problems have people encountered using Crystal reports and if there is a better package out there avaliable. Is it a fairly good package? Is there a better way to integrate data from multiple sources? Any insight would be appreciated.

After I installed CR 8, my system DSNs didn't work anymore. I don't recall the actual article, but if you search MS Knowledge Base, you'll find it. Jon Sagara "Ninety percent of baseball is mental, the other half is physical." -- Yogi Bera

I've used Crystal Reports for a couple of different projects. I'm currently using the latest version v8.5 for intranet reports. It sucks, it crashes, technical support is non-existant... but... it appears to be the only game in town. Quadruple whatever time estimate you make for report development.
