    Particularly http://codeproject.com/script/comments/forums.asp?msg=1186087&forumid=2605#xx1186087xx Aarrrrg. It seems like any of my posts that I made in the soapbox .. no longer belong to me. They're not listed under my username (e.g. clicking my name to see all comments I've made) and I can't edit or delete them. :( Any ideas? I made some .. inflammatory comments that I'd rather get rid of (in the soapbox).

      Can't help with your problem, but... upsdude wrote: I made some .. inflammatory comments that I'd rather get rid of (in the soapbox). Oh, don't be a weenie. Stand by your statements. If you're that bothered by it, take the lesson to heart and think twice next time. ;)

          If you change your name or email address when you post and are logged in then it marks the post as not being posted by a logged in member. This is to stop people from posting a message, changing their name to someone else's name, and having it appear that a message was posted by someone other than the person actually doing the posting. cheers, Chris Maunder

              or maybe he had the same problem I had this morning...a site "crunch, crunch" caused my CP cookie to disappear (or maybe get corrupted) and I had to re-log in. Steve

Not only is that clever... That's hilarious. I agree with Looney. Bone-up and stand by what you said either that or follow the golden rule of public message boards. If you are *that* mad, where you are going to do something you will later regret (case in point) then take a walk. If you cannot handle the heat get out of the soap-box.:laugh: {Boy, that sounds about stupid. Probably should be on a T-shirt though.}
