... it's driving me insane. I'm trying to remember a computer game that I played a few years back. It's was a top down (well, kinda isometric top down) space strategy game. You had to build up outposts, produce energy, explore, and when push came to shove, you had to kill the evil space guys who were doing the same as you somewhere else on the map. The game had 11 missions IIRC and there were ships such as battle ships, "tugs" for pulling other ships, you could hyperspace around the place. I think one of the chips could have been called a Centaur. You could have laser turrets and build barriers in space (the game acted as if space was 2d and not 3d). There was one handy little thing you could do to devastate the enemy by building a massive power station, setting a hyperspace target inside enemy territory and then using your "tugs" to pull the power station onto your hyperspace station... the power station would end up in enemy space, where they would attack... when one of those things went up the explosion was massive! Anyway, I think the name started with "out" but I simply can't find it anywhere. Can anyone remember the name? I'm going insane! Regards, Brian Dela :-) Blog^ Co-author of The Outlook Answer Book... At first I thought you were talking about Star Command ... but that's not it. I think there was a space sim called Outer Boundary? But I can't find it now. Perhaps you could use File Planet[^] and/or Game Spot[^] to search ...
