The full download seems to be the August version, not the December version. If you want the latest files, you will need to go through the web install. -- Paul "I drank... WHAT?"

the full download is a new build too, 5.1.2601.0 dunno why ms didn't included the final release for dx 8.1 sdk, it still in pre-release.

OK I am must be the worlds biggest idiot or the MS site is just plain daffy ! I got the installer site, via Tim's link, and selected what I wanted, and went to install, and Poof ! after 5 attempts I still have no SDK, no way of telling what parts of it I have, (although after the third attempt I did get a directory and some files...that was encouraging ), the MS site helpfully tells me I have nothing installed, and round and round we go. Has anyone gotten this version of the SDK installed successfully ? I went through this at home earlier this summer and had no problems. Oh well, it's just work ...
