A well-designed AJAX client can greatly reduce the traffic and/or the load on the servers. As a lot of people, I've been doing AJAX for years for this reason, not for the "cool" effect, before it was even called AJAX. I don't see dead pixels anymore... Yes, even I am blogging now!

A well-designed AJAX client can greatly reduce the traffic and/or the load on the servers. As a lot of people, I've been doing AJAX for years for this reason, not for the "cool" effect, before it was even called AJAX. I don't see dead pixels anymore... Yes, even I am blogging now!
That's true...but I'd rather get an ASP.NET based site before we start tacking on extra stuff. Don'tcha think?
