Just wondering if anyone else is looking forward to kicking back with a few coldies and watching Australia vs SA in the cricket on Boxing Day. Paul - what's the deal with Lance? Would that be 2 ducks in a row now? cheers, Chris Maunder

After hearing the dismal reports of our cricket stars on the News I thought it best to save my anguish by not watching. Frankly SA is going through a really tough sporting time. Our Rugby team is in disaray and our Cricket team seem to need a lesson in "those pointy sticks are called wickets, Lance, don't let the ball, round red shiny thing that the bowler (guy who hurls ball at you) uses, hit them." About the only good news is that our Netball team did not get thrashed, they only lost by a few points.... X| regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass Cape Town, South Africa Do you Sonork? You may get lucky with the weather, but I saw this afternoon that Aus bowled out SA for a pretty dismal score. I was in Melbourne for the start of the test (and the hailstorms!) and it seems like there may be more bad weather yet to come. Pray to the Rain Gods Paul, it's your only hope. cheers, Chris Maunder

I unfortuanatley did not switch channels fast enough to avoid hearing how thoroughly we got thrashed. :(( You Aussies are definitley the world champs, no doubt about it. Though it must be said that something is very wrong in the dressing room of the SA side. They have no spirit and our decisions also are way off target. Chris Maunder wrote: Pray to the Rain Gods Paul, it's your only hope. One thing Chris, I would rather loose than be let off the hook by bad weather. The number of times I have been pissed off because another team has had a draw from bad weather has made me realise that it is no consolation or good thing to "not loose" that way. Well done Australia! regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass Cape Town, South Africa Do you Sonork? After the 3rd day I stopped watching. SA used to be the team that was feared but it does look like they've lost heart. Ah well - the seasons will turn and you guys will be back on top soon enough. You are totally right about rain affected matches though. Still can't understand why they have the boxing day matches in Melbourne. It's always raining there on Boxing Day! cheers, Chris Maunder
