Another blog post for you :) http://blogs.msdn.com/tims/archive/2005/11/07/490174.aspx "We have a new CTP release of the WinFX Runtime Components due very shortly (within the next couple of weeks), so there's not long to wait for a release that is compatible with the final .NET Framework 2.0." I don't think so, but the beta worked fine integrated with beta 2 of the IDE. Christian Graus - Microsoft MVP - C++

Yes, but it was possible to download a beta that integrated with beta 2 of the IDE. I guess it's not a big deal, there was never a forms designer, so there's no reason I can't do it manually. Christian Graus - Microsoft MVP - C++

When VS RTM'd, Vista, WinFX, etc. were still working on their next beta. Therefore, the current public beta of these products don't work with the VS RTM. We have one currently in-house that does and it's being tested for release. Tom Archer (blog) Program Manager MSDN Online (Windows Vista and Visual C++) MICROSOFT
