Common in Pakistan. The law says women can be killed by their son/father/brother/husband to protect the 'honor' of the family. So, if you're a Pakistani muslim woman and you get raped, your son/father/brother/husband can kill you to protect or regain the family honor. It's not sanctioned by law in India (certainly) and Bangladesh (AFAIK). AFAIK, it doesn't even happen in either of these two countries. Cheers, Vikram.

Common in Pakistan. The law says women can be killed by their son/father/brother/husband to protect the 'honor' of the family. So, if you're a Pakistani muslim woman and you get raped, your son/father/brother/husband can kill you to protect or regain the family honor.
