I love using FireFox with AdBlock. It's done a great job of cleaning up my browsing experience. But I've noticed that Yahoo is getting smart about their banner ads and I wonder if this trend will permeate to other sites. For some rotating banner ads Yahoo is using, get this, PLAIN HTML! They wrap a DIV with a border, make its background AnnoyingPink and fill it with cheap airfare offers and hyperlinks. Oh, no! Ironic that a old technology (HTML) renders a new technology (AdBlock) worthless. Is there any hope? Barry Etter

Those ads are paying for the content you are viewing. There are many sites that remove the ads for a subscription fee. So, it is up to you - Pay for the service, or get it free with some banner ads. It really isn't a big deal. thanks! is there a shortcut key rather than going tools > start aardvark? Interesting: try hold in B and move the mouse around... turns everything to black text on white background.

It doesn't save your editing, though, so when you come back to the same site again, the bits you removed are back again Like it says, fine for printing, but no good for adblocking Or am I missing something? -- Help me! I'm turning into a grapefruit! Buzzwords!

Yup. Funny how proud people are of using AdBlock. I'd be ashamed if it ever got onto my computer. regards, Paul Watson Ireland Colib and ilikecameras. K(arl) wrote: oh, and BTW, CHRISTIAN ISN'T A PARADOX, HE IS A TASMANIAN!

Everytime you render the page all your changes are gone. You can't save your changes. Read the following explanation.

It's useful for reading an big article or printing an article without all the crap. Usually if Adblock didn't block some ads, then I use Aardvark to remove that block all together and continue my reading.
