Well today was the first day of the major pains! All streets around here are blocked off and filled with tents. No real way into our out of work. Most of the parking is blocked off or totally closed. Of course I work for a company that is lost in the stone age. Working from home or remotely is not allowed at all. If you are not in your seat during "normal" buisness hours you must not be working :(. Oh well the streets should be back open on the 9th.

I felt the pain, too. But then I'm not in Detroit, so it's not a Super Bowl pain. However this morning's commute was the commute from hell. Between roads under construction, roads closed down, and then a commuter train breaking down, it's been a long, long day already and its only 9:30. Chris Meech I am Canadian. [heard in a local bar] When I want privacy, I'll close the bathroom door. [Stan Shannon] Nice sig! [Tim Deveaux on Matt Newman's sig with a quote from me]

I fear the 2010 Soccer World Cup. I'm sure it's going to cause no end of congestion all over SA. I used to get high on life until I realized that life was cut with morons - Unknown

that's not good. I couldn't care less about pro sports, but I'm wondering how many of my coworkers will be taking next monday off. I'm in a hardcore Steelers area, and win or loose there're going to be alot of people hungover the day after.
