I had my car serviced late last week - cost about $1600 :sigh:. And now it won't start - I have to jump start it every time. It seems that the battery has somehow mysteriously died. Last time I had it serviced, I got it back with a flat tire*. My car must really dread getting serviced by now ;) Ironically, they called this morning to ask if I was happy with the car... I told them the problem and they offered to look at it for me, but I bet they'll charge another arm for the "service". * which I insisted they repair for free because they did it. After some persuasion they did :)

I always had bad experience with car reparation chains :sigh: I prefer independent, experienced, and sometimes slow, uh.... repairer...

lol. Not sure about that :) I know a few people who get their car serviced at the same place, and they always call them as well. Besides, it was a major service - replace all the brake disks and pads as well as a standard manufacturers major service.
