    What's snow got to do with the Olympics? Or are we talking about the Winter Olympics or something like that here? If so, then man, I gotta read the newspaper more I guess! :~ Regards, Nish

        That's what the organizers would like you to think. Being from British Columbia, Canada, I've read up a lot on this (we're hosting the 2010 Winter Olympics). I can't find a single Olympics that has actually generated a profit. In fact, most of them are huge money losers. Here's[^] just one of money takes on the topic. Cheers, Drew.

          This is BS. If you say that for the olympics, you can say that for everything. OK, let's turn everything off until we have fixed every problem in the world. No party anymore (why be happy because others are suffering), no sports, no arts (yes, art is expensive), no cinema (yes, making a movie is expensive), etc... We cannot stop living because others are in the mood, that's life. I spend money, I help local associations when I can, I vote for the people that are wanting to change things, and that's what most of us do. I love olympics, I am a great sports fan, I particularly love biathlon, ice-hockey, I love the olympics atmosphere, I find it awesome to see the best athlets in the world competiting two weeks long, it is simply great. So read my advice : dismiss your internet connection, and give the money you spend in it every month to cancer research, you'll make both the medical research and us happy. ~RaGE();

                  Well, he's started to make a name for himself as a starter for the Montreal Canadiens. And with the announcement that Jose Theodore will be out for 6 weeks with a cracked bone in his foot, the playoff hopes for Montreal rest squarely on Crostobal's shoulders. I'd love to see him win 17 of the last 25 games the Canadiens have left. :) Chris Meech I am Canadian. [heard in a local bar] When I want privacy, I'll close the bathroom door. I understand that Montreal is still paying for theirs, 30 years later. I live in the UK and I'm not looking forward to having the Games hosted here in 2012.
