Could someone please tell me in detail how to go about publishing a website using the new 2005. I took and hit publish webpage and hit prpecomiple and it made the directory and files but I'm lost: Do I take that entire directory and move it to IIS, basically here is what I want to do. I know i can view it with localhost using visual studios view in browser all that is fine, but I want my buddy to be able to see the page I'm working on. Do I need to install IIS or is it automatically installed with a full version of 2005? How do i set it up so someone can access my pc on a given port and view the page? thanks for your help. No it's not....done through Add / Remove Windows components.... If using the ASP.NET development server, tell your bud to connect to http://MACHINEIPADDRESS:Portnumber To behonest, I use IIS anyway - publishes there with a single click and no probs lol "Now I guess I'll sit back and watch people misinterpret what I just said......"
