Ciao. For my next project I'd like to use VS 2005 PRO. Unfortunatelly I stil have (and WILL have for quite some time) some projects in vs 2003 (both WinApps and C.F.). I might end up buying a second Pc for my office, but half of my time I'm using a notebook (with 1.3 Gb od RAM...should be ok). Since VS2005 has been out for quite some time now, do you know of any problems having both vs installed on the same PC and working with both. Thanks in Advance Marco ;) -- modified at 5:29 Thursday 9th March, 2006

Why do you break your lines within 50 characters, like that Vikas Amin dude from Mumbai? :suss:

None whatsoever. I had VS 2003 and 2005 beta 2 on the same machine, with no problems. Now I have 2003 and 2005 EE, with no problems. HTH. :) Cheers, Vikram.

I had VC 6, VC 2005 and VC 2005 beta installed in parallel, no problems.

No problem with VS2003 along with VS2005 Pro, or VS2005 Express. SQL 2000 and 2005, is another story........

I've done it (SQL 2000 + 2005 beta and 2K + 2005) and had not problems at all. Just remember to install different instances. -- LuisR
