Did anyone see the news blurb on TV where they showed a guy using the device, and he was on the Google web site? I bet Gates is twisting in the wind over that, especially since the MS search site went live on the same day as the Oragami was released. :laugh:;P:laugh:;P:laugh:;P:laugh: ------- sig starts "I've heard some drivers saying, 'We're going too fast here...'. I don't get Origami. Bulkier and harder to stow than a PDA. Smaller and more annoying to insert text than a laptop. Bigger and just as useless as a Portable Media Centre. And if I hear one more media outlet say it's the iPod or PSP killer I will barf. cheers, Chris Maunder

Don't forget the price tag too, completly useless if you ask me X| , i really had high hopes for it :sigh:.
C makes it easy to shoot yourself in the foot; C++ makes it harder, but when you do, it blows away your whole leg

There are pros and cons for it. It's about the same size as an Archos 700 (7" screen), with 30/60/100GB drive. Too big for my use. So I bought the 500, which is the size of a pack of cigarettes. It's got 30GB. I wonder how much Oragami has for storage. Origami, since it has Windows, probably has better codec support, connectivity, etc. But it can't record movies, which is why I bought the Archos, which BTW, is $599CDN. I suspect the only market will be people who would use tablet PCs, and want smaller size. Interesting virtual keyboard.:cool: He was a snowflake, like other "unique" snowflakes, falling down, getting stepped on, and pushed aside to disappear.

MS totally, utterly dropped the ball on the PMCs. They were out long before video iPods, and have far better screens, but because Joe Blow User couldn't buy any TV shows from an online store (and you needed XP SP2 + WMP 10 to use them) PMCs were pretty much DOA.
