Microsoft Antispyware flags it as a threat. The messenger plus site says it's benign. Has anyone had bad experiences with MP. I'd like to use it as it supports multiple accounts running at the same time.

I've been using it for about 3 years. No problems whatsoever. The setup prompts you to install an ad program, but you can choose not to. I can verify that it _does not _install it if you tell it not to.

There is an OPTIONAL ad program that it asks to install. But I think they mark it as benign since you can remove all messenger ads with it :)

Found on Bash.org [erno] hm. I've lost a machine.. literally _lost_. it responds to ping, it works completely, I just can't figure out where in my apartment it is.
