Hey Tom, You can email support#theultimatetoolbox.com (change # to @). Alternatively, is there something specific you are looking for? I own the UTB products now, so you can email me directly too. Though if you mail support, it goes to more people, and you may get a faster reply. Regards, Nish

Actually, I did email Nish. When I received no reply, I figured maybe it was inappropriate for me to email him directly so I was looking for a general page/link for UT customers. Tom Archer (blog) Program Manager MSDN Online (Windows Vista and Visual C++) MICROSOFT

Hey Tom, I haven't received your email. Perhaps one of our mail servers was at fault there or perhaps a spam filter may have caught it. Could you please re-send it to me (or rather to support)? Thanks. Regards, Nish

Hmmm, I didn't get that email - just double checked. My best guess is the spam filter caught it.

Yep, the versions currently available do not support 2005. But CG and I have finished the 2005 versions, and will be making them available shortly - most likely in a week's time. We wanted to have the same code-base compile on VC6, 2003 and 2005 - so it took us just a little longer than we expected - specially since we also had to deal with the deprecated CRT functions, where the secure alternatives do not exist in VC6. Regards, Nish

Any chance of you guys adding a page to CP for issues like this? I'm thinking a page with an RSS feed where you guys blog things like "We're working on a version for VS2K. Stay tuned.". Something inexpensive for you to implement and easy to update, but at the same time gives UTB customers a place to go for latest info. I feel your pain (been there, done that!). Shame there's no prospect of a WTL version...for various reasons we've pretty much abandoned MFC now, and as there are no suitable toolkits available we're usually end up writing our own extensions (or porting open source MFC classes) rather than buying an off the shelf toolkit.
