"Police said the girl told them she remembered a lesson from school to always search for a weapon in that kind of situation" I didn't know they were taught that at school?! Good teaching thought!

Yeah, I've retired it to my blog for now... We'll have to consider how to manage all that information. It's cool though! Fun idea now how to manage the results.

No. Love is the universal language and I truly believe that. Love and hate don't need to be taught. We understand both from birth. Two people can and have fallen in love not knowing the others language. 2 people can and have killed one another not knowing the others language. Love & Hate, Passion & Warfare those things are universal nobody has to learn...

I disagree, in some respects. You can learn to love, and you can be taught to hate [or vice versa]. I think love is a chemical reaction between two people, where as war or hate is a survival instinct (kill or be killed). Agreed, there will always be love and hate, but they are a primal instinct that can (sometimes) be controlled. Peace Frog! delete this; * poof *

An idea, although I don't know if it would work. If you can use a 'background image' from a non-CP server, you could create a gif of each language's greeting (with a little Bob, of course), and serve them from your server randomly (or non-randomly), and have them show up in your sig. But if non-CP domains are not allowed, it wouldn't work...

                      _

Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day; teach a person to use the Internet and they won't bother you for weeks.

Don't bother. The background-image style get stripped out now. There's no way for you to do it.

Further to RandomMonkey's suggestion - you could read the browser's language setting and display the correct language.

"... This man is obviously a psychotic." "We-he-ell, uh, I'd like to hold off judgement on a thing like that, sir, until all the facts are in." (Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb)

Then how was the 'Bob' image being displayed in code-frogs signature? It showed it being a background image. The CP servers may cache the image, making random swaps on his servers ineffective.

Chris Maunder (website admin) just disabled the use of "background-image" several hours ago because he found out about that it can be abused for things like automatically voting a post with a 5 if the post is even viewed.
