I know it's not Sunday yet for all of you. It is sunday morning for me. I'll be going for work today, as is usual with me. I wonder what you guys do? (1) Go to work [meaning office] (2) Sit at home and code? (3) Go to Church (4) Sleep throughout the day (5) Sit at home and do some non-programming type work (6) Take kids out (7) Get drunk (8) Anything else??? Number 4, and I hope no self-respecting Brit chooses anything else. Tomorrow it is up at 2 PM, followed by a huge 3 course roast, followed by six hours of r&r before I hit CP for the evening. God may have got some things wrong, but he certainly got that one right! ________________ David Wulff http://www.davidwulff.co.uk "I loathe people who keep dogs. So I am just lucky I like it. I mean even if he didnt force me I'd have gone anyway. So it's kinda mutual. OK, I just hope that you get a proper compensation (money, another day off or something else - free lunch etc.), otherwise it's totally unfair - everybody should have some break. I like to programm as well, but I would not want to work on Sundays without compensation.

We don't really have a schedule per se. As I thought of it, I realized we do have somewhat of a routine. A 'normal' Sunday goes something like this for me: 1)Either sleep in till about 10 or 11 (what I'll be dong tomorrow). Or I watch Coronation Street. I realize there is going to be some groaning and such, and general insults towards the show. However, it's kind of a family tradition. 2) My son and I make something special for brunch. By special I mean not the usual dry cereal. Tomorrow we are going to make muffins. Usually it's pancakes though. 3)Get some work done (in the office, house work, or both). If everything is done or decent enough we go skiing. 4)Either I play a game online with my brother (usually AoE) or play a board game/cards with my son (usually Chinese Checkers and/or Strageo Jr.) 5)Whatever, didn't get done, needs to get done. qomi "Don't compromise yourself. Just say there's no proof of God, and I'll be happy to do a replay for you :-) Nish [BusterBoy] wrote: Shows you are a normal nice guy who is totally sane and doing the right thing But of course. I'm on holidays, but part of me can't wait to get home and start writing some C# code. Of course initially I'll be more doing a refresher on ATL in preparation for my new job... Same as always, plotting to take over the world. It's a hobby... Actually, Saturdays I'm so drained by a week of work that I get little done; a little reading maybe (today I re-read Dune!). So Sunday is the only time in the week to do chores around the house, vacuum the cat, and wash the truck. I'd dust, but the wind is still blowing 30 to 50 mph (11 days now), so there seems little point in that. I'll more than likely check in to annoy a few CPians, look over the email, and try again to hack that pesky PeopleScheduler database. I think I'll probably end up writing my own version for them on my own time, but what the heck, I'll be learning...

Actually he is 4YO. He loves cooking and cleaning. I think most little kids enjoy doing grown-up stuff. Of course he doesn’t do anything the stove or oven with out supervision! ;-) qomi "Don't compromise yourself. It's all you've got." - Janis Joplin
