I am looking for an image processing library. As well as basic processing like brightness and contrast, I need functions things like; red eye removal and one click improve. I have read Christian’s “Image Processing for Dummies article” which was a great help. I realise that I could code a lot of the basic stuff my self, quite quickly, but I don’t really have the time. I have already looked at things like ImageMagick, but wondered what else there is out there and if people have any recommendations. The library does not have to be free, performance and quality is critical. Cheers!

Thanks, that’s useful. I was also looking for commercial software, if anybody has recommendations.

I don't have any personal experience, but I have heard that Lead Technologies LeadTools[^] is pretty good. They have advertised their products in Dr Dobb's and other journals since as far back as I can remember. Regards, Brigg Thorp Senior Software Engineer Timex Corporation
