Since I got another job I have been checking up on CP a lot more than I had been in the last 6-8 months. I have noticed something really cool here in the past month. I see a lot of the same people in multiple forums now and not only do they argue with each other but then they turn around and help each other. I must admit it's a nice thing when we can all argue over trivial things and yet still get help from our peers without any thought to the fact that you don't like the person you are helping :) Just my 2 cents for the afternoon, -Richard

while there are a couple of people around here who i simply will not 'talk' to any more, most of the time, it's easy for me to keep the brutal flame wars in one box and the idle chatter in another. i assume something similar applies to other people, as well Cleek | Image Toolkits | Thumbnail maker

Well....politics and religion and all that is never trivial, but also, speaking personally here, it doesn't mean that I don't like the person, especially if I were to meet them in person. It just means I have some very different opinions. There are people on CP I truly don't like, mainly because they make themselves unlikeable (unless you're like them, I suppose), so for the most part, I don't bother even getting into a discussion with them. It's a waste of time. When arguing, it's actually amazing how much I've learned. It's rather humbling, for a while. I guess I'm not the sort that stays humble very long, harhar. ;P In the long run, we're all in the same boat, even if we're at it tongs and hammer as to which way the wind is blowing.
