A new Zdnet article says how Microsoft really won the anti-trust fight. First it hired all the lobbyists in Washington(or as many as it could) so it's competitors would not have any. It also hired a majority of anti-trust firms in the states that are holding out, so companies won't be able to have enough competent lawyers to purse their claims. What a great strategy! I was really impressed with bill. Anyway here's the link. MS Article in Zdnet:-D I  Microsoft and :bob:

If MS wasn't such a target for politicians trying to make a name for themselves and companies who are technically unable to compete (Lotus, WordPerfect, Netscape, etc...), then MS wouldn't have to spend so much money. Tim Smith Descartes Systems Sciences, Inc.

It's funny how Sun and AOL go crying to the government because they can't compete, but Microsoft just trumps their efforts and shows them to be the losers that they are. I  Microsoft and :bob:

Brings a new meaning to the phrase "bought their silence". Nobody else but Microsoft would dare do this on this kind of scale.

Nah, I'm sure all big corporations are at it. There is nothing illegal about it, but it isn't very moral. Mind you the system is at fault, time for a revolution me thinks. Michael :-)

Except for Sun, Oracle,... who generously support those politicians who go after MS's hide. "Sure, Mr Senator, you can even use my private jet"
