Bring a roll of lifesavers or some candy that you can eat silently. Eat it throughout the test. It will keep your blood sugar up, your hunger low, and you'll be able to focus better! Good luck! ---- xian

Good Luck omkamal. I hope you get a 2300+ score. And go to sleep early. Be relaxed when you take the test. In fact try not to think about it too much. And that very thinking makes me even more anxious. omkamal

Get plenty of rest and don't stress about it. There's nothing you can study; you already know it or you don't. At least half of the questions will be fairly easy, so glide through those first, then go back to the more difficult ones. Any real stumpers you find, skip until you've completed all the merely difficult ones, then spend whatever time you have left filling in the gaps. Unless they've changed the scoring since I took it, a wrong answer may cost you more than no answer - pay close attention to the scoring method, and adapt your strategy to it. Good luck!

The general test is pretty much like the SAT's. Pace yourself, skip questions your stuck on, and try not to freak out. Don't drink so much coffee before hand you start suffering kidney failure during the test (I'm gulty of this).

All the above are not possible in the CAT test. Questions appear on the computer one at a time. Either answer it or skip it (indirectly saying that you dont know the answer and loose more marks than answering it wrong). There is no "come-back". The Aptitude test is a breeze. The Advanced test is a little more interesting. Imho, it's hard to "study" for the GRE. /ravi "There is always one more bug..." ravib@ravib.com http://www.ravib.com
