    The system is occuring the following problem while openning the new project of ASP.net with C# or VB.net 1.The Web server reported the error while attempting to create or open the new web project located at the following URL http://localhost/Web Application1.The connection with the server could not be established.       Hi there, Do you install the IIS before or after the .Net framework? Have you tried with the local IP address of the machine instead of the localhost name. Btw, this is a known issue which you can quickly find the solution with a little help from Google[^].
