I'm trying to find software that will let me burn 4 cd's or dvd's at once if I have 4 burners. Any recommendations? My Music | My Pics | My Articles BlackDice

Nero Burning ROM[^] has this feature, although I haven't used it yet. ___________________________________ Tozzi is right: Gaia is getting rid of us. My Blog [ITA]

If you are doing duplication there are hardware solutions for this... however burning 4 CDs let alone dvds at once will probably overload the IDE or SATA bus. Matt Newman

I have used it for burning three copies, two disks and one disk image via the multi-disk writing capability. I can't exactly burn more than that because I only have two RW drives. _________________________ Asu no koto o ieba, tenjo de nezumi ga warau. Was the system still responsive? I mean, burning three copies at a time is a little heavy. Or not? ___________________________________ Tozzi is right: Gaia is getting rid of us. My Blog [ITA] The ScrewTurn Software experiment

Dual processor, workstation bus, my systems were still responsive, but that may not help you. :) _________________________ Asu no koto o ieba, tenjo de nezumi ga warau. Talk about things of tomorrow and the mice in the ceiling laugh. (Japanese Proverb)

Dual core processor, 2GB RAM, HyperTransport 1GHz bus, here. I think it would go quite smooth! :-D ___________________________________ Tozzi is right: Gaia is getting rid of us. My Blog [ITA] The ScrewTurn Software experiment

You mean 4 CD/DVD burners in one machine? There are industry burner which can burn 100 copies at once. It it's your personal why all have to done at once? Why can't you burn each one of CD/DVD one after the other? [Quick Reply][Reply][Email][View Thread][Get Link][Bookmark]

Time, we have several machines with one drive we regularly burn in parallel. When we do mass updates to customers (not often) we will turn on every machine in the lab and set them all burning the same image cached through the network (cache local copy, time burn process, then burn). There are a couple of exceptions where a machine can burn two copies at once, but only a few of us have the exceptions. In the end parallel writes are best for time, however, machine wise asking 10 machines to burn a DVD is combersome, but very efficient, and on other times those machines have other duties, so no waste of dual burners at other times. _________________________ Asu no koto o ieba, tenjo de nezumi ga warau.
