Idea that is. :) Most hand held mice being sold today are optical. A nice feature of them is that they an be used to mouse over just about anywhere on your desk and function reasonably well. But sometimes, your desk fills up with lots of clutter like dirt, sand, dust bunnies, etc. So how about a mouse attachment that acts like a blower to cleanup up your desk as you mouse over it. :) Chris Meech I am Canadian. In all seriousness, the best way to go about this would not be a blower or vacuum. They make to much noise and computers already make enough as it is. If any thing, I would take a piece of a that material that grabs dust without liquid (kinda like a swiffer mop) and glue a small strip of that around the edges of the optical area. Brett A. I don't think that's a good idea because when someone exclaims "This mouse really sucks!", you won't know if they're cursing or praising the device. ;P /ravi My new year's resolution: 2048 x 1536 Home | Music | Articles | Freeware | Trips ravib(at)ravib(dot)com

That has the added benefit of selling the initial product plus replenishment supplies. :)

Good idea, but I think the first step is for man to create a coffee pot that locks heat in without dripping coffee all over the place when you go to pour it ;D (I view that to be more important than picking up those little dust bunnies on my desk) ____________________________________________________________ ~Life without God would be a sad life indeed. ~Life without coffee would be a tired life indeed.

Better than my idea to add 4 wheel drive to the mouse.
