Or at the very least nothing you have to hide when you get home. ------------------------------------- Do not do what has already been done. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.. but it ROCKS absolutely, too.

We're having a bit of a debate in the office at the moment. At every conference I go to I end up with a bunch of stuff that's branded with company's logos and stuff. What sort of stuff do you like getting best from these things? cheers, Chris Maunder

Apart from the polo/T shirts the most useful things I got (at two different conferences) was the retractable Ethernet cable and retractable modem cable. Graham

A car is always nice, but short of that a shirt is golden and makes much more sense from a marketing perspective.

With some of us, the chain and ankle bracelet doesn't reach any conferences :sigh:.

The best conference was a joint marketing conference by 5 companies. There was a free breakfast, a denim shirt, 20 $100 American Express gift certficates to be given out on lots drawn from business cards (except that we were only 17 attendees, so there was no need to draw lots!) and then I won one of 5 Palm Pilot IIIs! Not bad for a morning away from work where I had another month to go before being laid off! (I had already been notified that I was to be among the laid-off).
