came across this as a link on another site http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4633452260[^] You'd think sellig a car would be easy but the emails he got and his reponses are worth a 5 minute read - poor chap.

I suspect he was merely putting some funny stuff on that page to increase readership. It seems to have worked :-) Regards, Nish

Old wonderful Oxford, love my time there, love the pubs, beer, the pubs, beer ... Fond memories. Car was cheap!! Should I purchased the car in England and move it to the US, its cheaper. My first car in the UK was 600 pounds, my first car in the US was $3000. Why are used cars cheaper in the UK? Cheers Al My eMail control My Blog

Great roads, try to drive a car in Southern California, holes everywhere! You need an SUV or something strong so you don't lose half of the car on the road. The UK has great Freeways (Motoways) I was normally driving on the M5 and M4 Cheers Al My eMail control My Blog

 Man that was hilarious (except of course for the seller) I've tried to sell some stuff too five months back and had the same problem. (although not to that extent) Had to take pictures over and over again in yet another corner, and stupid questions, :omg:, unbelievable. but, I got more then I actually wanted :-D. Coulda, woulda, shoulda doesn't matter if you don't.

You still lose parts with an SUV. There's just more of them and they are heavier.

But they are higher, once I saw a pick up truck, where they modify it to be very low to the ground, losing the rear bumper. I do not know why that guy made that modification to his truck! His plates where from California! He knows about the state of the Freeways! Al My eMail control My Blog

                      It's called a low-rider.

To appear to be cool. Once you take away from a truck's suspension (e.g., remove springs/coils), it's no longer a truck as it can't haul/pull anything.
