Roger Wright wrote: ot if it takes him as long to type as it does to figure out a modem Actually, I got a delivery this week of two copies of the latest WDJ ( because they ran an article from me ), and it took me all day to convince the people at Australian Air Express that two cards with two con note numbers were two different items, and that only after calling the ISP to get the number and being able to make a statement of fact. So I had to drive out to the airport to get it, because even though I called them regularly throughout the day, it was 5:00 before I got that sorted. Then the modem came with unsigned drivers, which crashed XP. Once I gave up on XP (for Win 2000), the modem and my USB mouse would not both run at the same time until I put them both into my powered USB hub. Beyond that, everything was a breeze :-) Christian The tragedy of cyberspace - that so much can travel so far, and yet mean so little.
Some days are like that, aren't they? Well, I'm glad you got it working - nice, isn't it? Have fun! A newbie's elementary guide to spawning salmon
