I'd like some better communication skills to go along with my techie skills. I struggle to get my ideas across so that other people can understand them and get as excited as I am about things. Obviously financial security would be great. I've spent too many years wondering where the next contract/pay cheque was going to come from. I had this huge list, then I reread your question, what would make MY life better. A lot of things could have a minor impact on my life, but I'll ignore things that have a secondary effect. So, here's the shorter list, as I'm pretty happy with my life: My girlfriend has some health concerns that would be great if she didn't have. It doesn't necessarily impact my life, but my first concern is with her well being. Lose some weight (the daily biking is working, but hey, a magic wand would be great) Not be lactose intolerant A flat tax. I so loathe all the BS of taxes. Eliminate all my debt (again, the magic wand would help a slow process) Actually, not having to work to put food on the table. Just give me a large enough bank account, so I can write all the CP articles I want. And though it has really nothing to do with making my life better, #1 on the magic wand list would be, no more US casualties (or any country, for that matter) in Iraq (or anywhere else).
