Hey Leckey, You'd probably get much faster response time on questions posted to the forums if your screenname had a feminine ring to it. Most of the developers I know are guys, and many of those guys are single. Single guys are much more likely to be responsive to females than males. In fact, I think I'll change my screenname to Joshette Smith... Joshette

Juliette is what I had in mind when appending 'ette' to my name for a feminine effect. If it's good enough for Billy Shakespeare, it works for me too.

Not only will you survive a nuclear blast and rivers of lava but I assume bio-terror as well. "Until the day of his death, no man can be sure of his courage" -- Jean Anouilh

We tend to look at things "bass-akwards". Death isn't the enemy. We're all going to succumb. The real enemy is the way we (everybody) views the world. Obviously, that battle begins inside of each one of us. What's most important is how we live. If terrorists force us into our bomb shelters, they don't have to bomb us to win. The American Spirit (in my opinion) isn't based on "duck and cover"; it's based on the courage to live freely. I know, easier said than done. Unfortunately, in the name of domestic security, we are becoming less American. Under pressure from their constituency, lawmakers are pecking away at freedom. Some Irish-american once said, "Give me liberty or give me death." We have to decide how much freedom we want to yield to be protected from the possibility of a terrorist attack. As for surviving the atomic blast, I would much prefer ground zero to the prison fear would build. Besides, at ground zero it's painless. ;) There. Was that dramatic enough? Back to hacking.

Do you actually think that terrorists are going to target South Dakota or Iowa?! If so, stop doing LSD. Put yourself in their shoes, what gets more bang for the buck...blowing up Chicago with nuke, or destroying a farm (with the lovely Leckey "manning" a combine) in Iowa? Hmmm....ummmm...well...I guess....yeah, Chicago.

Sounds like something that should be done regardless of whether terrorists are about to kill you or not! josh

Terrorists won't but unfriendly foreigners will. The value of north american real estate would be so much higher were it fully furnished and untenanted. Dams, roads, electricity and water distribution systems, factories (presumably there are some left in the US) and all that sort of thing, but free of inconvenient americans. Just a little judicious bioengineering and all you have to do is go there on holidays and sniffle at them! You can even rationalise that if God objects he will send a sign in the form of a Great White Hanky. PeterW -------------------- If you can spell and use correct grammar for your compiler, what makes you think I will tolerate less?
