    Hi guys! I think installing a SDK is not kind of programming, Am I right? So I can post it here!:cool::rose: I downloaded the Microsoft Robotics Studio SDK, but when I try to install it, it shows the message:

    The wizard was interrupted before Microsoft Robotics Studio (June 2006) could be completely installed.

    Your system has not been modified. To complete installation at another time, please run |DAMNED| setup again.:)

    Click finish to exit the |DAMNED| wizard.:laugh:

        Try getting the damned installer to produce a log file so you can see why its failing. See here for how to enable logging: http://support.installshield.com/kb/view.asp?pcode=ALL&articleid=Q104807[^] -- The Obliterator

          Those familiar with the Concurrency and Coordination Runtime (CCR)[^] (not currently available for download anywhere, AFAIK) is actually bundled with Robotics Studio. If you install it, it will install the CCR dlls, including a Windows Forms CCR adapter library. Haven't gotten around to playing with it much, but I know a lot of people are excited about this asynchronous programming library, as it may form the basis for some high-level asynchronous programming constructs for managed code in the coming years. :cool:

              Do you know of any reason why in the System Requirements it says that it needs the .NET 2 SDK but will only run > Windows XP? Surely unless they're using specific XP features it'll run on 2K since .NET 2 SDK runs on that? Anyway, downloading now to try out, I didn't download initially because of the Sys Req, but then decided, sod it I'll try it, it's not as if we've got a capped line.

                    Thanx, I did what you do, and I've got a crowded log file, but I can see two lines in it that make me wonder if I should do some application updates:

                    Property(C): ISSCRIPT_VERSION_MISSING = The InstallScript engine is missing from this machine. If available, please run ISScript.msi, or contact your support personnel for further assistance.
                    Property(C): ISSCRIPT_VERSION_OLD = The InstallScript engine on this machine is older than the version required to run this setup. If available, please install the latest version of ISScript.msi, or contact your support personnel for further assistance.

                        Hey guys! I'm getting crazy! I just extracted the Setup.exe and got:

                        _ISMSIDEL.INI
                        0x0409.ini

                        Microsoft Robotics Studio (June 2006).msi

                        I installed the ISScript1150.Msi and it went alright! then I tryed to install the Microsoft Robotics Studio (June 2006).msi and the damned message appeared again! I even have another windows on my computer, that is Windows Server 2003; even in that windows it shows the same message! I even logged the setup in just errors mode and all it gave me was this:

                        === Logging started: 6/29/2006 1:00:17 ===
                        === Logging stopped: 6/29/2006 1:01:47 ===

                        :wtf::~ :sigh::doh::(( Help me please! Sojaner!

                            Erm, I think the isscript engine is included in the installation itself. Sorry its not my area of expertise - I usually waste days figuring out why my damned setup's don't work properly! Maybe you should post the logs and problems on installshield's community forums. People are pretty helpful there. -- The Obliterator

                              Those properties are just text resources that are automatically added in installers when they're created with InstallShield. Unless one of them was the error message you got, those two lines are pretty much harmless. Look for an error code. Or, if you have the Platform SDK installed, try loading the log file into wilogutil.exe, it's an MSI log viewer. Hope this helps
