Hi guys, I've just been having a look at the jobs page[^] here on CP as I'm looking for a new role (the firm I work for has just made all non management staff redundant). There's a few ad's there posted by people looking for work, rather then offering it. Just wanting to know the etiquette rules about this before I do the same - is it acceptable for candidates to make postings in there, or is it just for advertisers?

So who is left to do the work? Are the managers just managing empty desks? Sounds like something from Dilbert. Words fade as the meanings change, but somehow, it don't bother me.

Completely OT but I find this utterly hilarious (and sad). Who did they think was going to do the actual work now?:laugh::laugh: Sounds like they might have done you a favor...

I'm not sure they've thought that far ahead.

No, they can't afford the rent! (That's not a joke either). I've no idea what's going to happen, frankly I'm not that fussed right now, my focus is on getting another job ;)

That's the attitude I'm taking. Lots of plus points, I just need to focus on that. Now's not a time to panik!

If they can't pay rent, are they paying salary? Either way, it sounds like you need to find another job :) Hope you find one, PJC
