The small font of the article titles on the front page gets overshadowed by the bold font of the author’s name. The coolest thing would be to have the CSS opened up so we can all modify it and then somehow upload it to our user profile and then from there on we use our own color scheme. May be a monthly skinning competition with best looking color scheme?

Yeah :( I found the reddish-orange too strong and the green not too appealing. Way to much contrast. It makes me anxious and restless. I preferred the previous more light and calming colors. Now I fell like in a rush while reading the website :( I quit visiting CodeGuru after earthweb bought the website, changed its colors to dark-blue & gray and filled 60% of the screen with commercials. :sigh: http://www.acorns.com.au

I agree. The orange and dark green colors are too hard on the eyes. The softer colors used before made this site much easier to read. I agree with your CodeGuru comment too. One of the reasons I stopped going to that site was because the new design's colors made it difficult to read. Plus, they put way to much stuff on their homepage making it even more distracting. (Of course the biggest reason I stopped going was because CodeProject soon out performed CodeGuru and became my favorite dev site.) I do commend Chris for taking the effort (and the risk) to improve the CodeProject website. Hopefully this feedback will help him make this site better for everyone.
