yup I'm not seeing this as an improvement yet either.. 1. orange background is too strong, makes the menu text difficult to read. 2. green menu strip along to top clashes rather with the rest...would prefer to see this a neutral colour. 3. topic headings on the main page don't stand out very well 4. structure of the site is less apparent than it was due to the new colour-scheme.

Well, does seem a little wider than it should be but it's not really (Media kit and advertising info sets the width). I guess I could get used to the new layout. The only real problem I have is with this acid orange color. I know it's the "official" CP color, but it's just too intensive, it pains me to just look at it. Could we possibly tone it down a bit? Maybe instead of 255.153.0 (which seems to be the new color) do something like 255.174.0?

The left bar is a little glaring, and will take some getting used to but I do like the new layout.;)
