        except with the power of google's search....which is really not all that powerfull for code files.

          Naw, they're actually offering Subversion hosting. Depending on how well they combine it with the bug reporting, it could end up being pretty useful.

              Yeah, but since their services are always in BetaTM and chaning constantly with stuff, I'm not so sure I'd want to trust them with a code repository.

                Yeah, i'd give it a bit of time before entrusting anything crucial. But, i've been feeding more and more important emails into Gmail lately, so i could see this changing.

                  This might actually be interesting for my new scheduling tool. Just finished it and still need a spot on a webserver. Since I like SVN better, I think I might give it a try.

                    Jeremy, It is quite strange that all Google products are always suffixed with a string 'BETA', for reasons best known to Google. GMail, I believe has been breaking records with its beta period ranging for more than two years right?
