Did something change?

Suddenly I am not able to File->Save-As any webpages from this site? That used to be a convenient way to do read these articles when off line or for reference purposes. Today that is not working at all. Did something change or is just a quirk on my w/s?
Just trying to keep the forces of entropy at bay

Wow. I've had broadband for so much time that I even forgot that I used to download text for offline reading...
I don't see dead pixels anymore... Yes, even I am blogging now!

Well, you're the second person to ask about this, so at least you're not alone.

Huh. Works just fine for me. I use Firefox though...so maybe you are having an issue with IE.

Well, except for women and black people, but we fixed that!

Yeah, I know what you mean. I use to hate my laptop because I have had broadband since 1998 and it has grown as such a part of my computing world that I found myself frustrated when wanting some simple information and reaching for the browse to realize I did not have a connection :)

Hmm. I'm using IE6. When I do a File, Save As from the Lounge, it starts downloading the bits and pieces, and then pops up a message box "This Web page could not be saved.". Hmm2. View an article, select the 'Print' link. File, Save As works correctly. Taking a guess, there's something about the site's new organization that's broken that functionality, at least as far as IE is concerned. It's probably related to how the ads are served.

I get that every once in a while--one PC will refuse to save the page...go to that same page on the PC sitting right next to it, and it'll save without any problem. The next day it's the second PC that'll refuse to save anything. Click Refresh as much as you want, it still refuses to do it. > View an article, select the 'Print' link. File, Save As works correctly I'll have to try to remember that next time this happens...
