You are obviously craving some kind of attention. If you were unhappy you could just not come to the site anymore. I can see posting a question about deleting an account if you were paying for access, but you aren't. So you want everyone to know you are pissed off because someone hurt your feelings. I for one am very grateful for this community. I learn a lot every day and look forward to daily life discussions in the Lounge and Soapbox. I've been called out for some of my stupid questions. I don't let it get to me...it pushes me to learn more. Get off your high horse and go pout somewhere else. Or apologize, change your sig and learn to play well with others.

Posting garbage like this is begging for a flame fest, which I see that you got. Was it good for you?

You can't, or at least I have never seen a way. Not even sure why you would want to.

Umm, then don't participate in any of the discussions here. I don't think Chris & company forces anyone to post here.
I'd love to help, but unfortunatley I have prior commitments monitoring the length of my grass. :Andrew Bleakley:

That doesn't answer his question. He wants to delete his account. Code Project should give him the chance.

Does the pub get you to sign up as a member and then add 1 to the member count above the front door? Think a bit harder about your anology next time.

Glad you picked through that; I wasn’t going to. Seems rather childish, if you can’t take a little criticism here and there where on earth are you going to fit in?

Not true, he should be able to delete his ccount if he wants too. Code Project is displaying the number of members and using that as a selling point to advertisers. If the members are not active or unhappy it is a false number. Account deletion is a valid requirement/request.

Don't let em' get to you man. You fell off your bike. Get up, brush off the dirt, and head for that jump again. You might fall off a few more times, but your diligence will pay off. Take criticism with a grain of salt, but listen to it. Use it to make your next attempt even better. Such is life man. Just keep at it, and don't let these flamers deter you. Obviously by posting this your reaching out, so take the advice. Don't give up. Your the only one that can stop you from learning.
This statement is false.

I came here because I had litterally only just begun to use VB.NET and I really wanted to learn how to use it properly. I had searched through a lot of other sites for information on delegates but couldn't find anything that explained what I wanted to know. I finally peiced together what I thought was enough information (because it actually worked in code) and wrote an article to help other new people who were having problems with the same subject. What did I recieve? I wrote a VB.NET article and the only comments I recieved were idiots telling me VB.NET = C#.. why? I hadn't asked that question.. I made no alusion that it might be the same I hadn't even mentioned C# originally. So why bombard me with C# code that is obviously more advanced than the article? It's not helpful to spam a newbie with code that is not even in the language they wanted to learn. This is why I think the majority of the community is arrogant, disrespectful and stupid. Had the people who replied to my article done so with VB code I would have taken on what they said and updated my article accordingly. But they couldn't even do that, instead they just SPAM SPAM SPAM.
