Has anyone with a Mac that is running Windows under Bootcamp attempted to install VS 2005 and/or SQL server? I'd be interested if it's possible and/or stable. Well, as stable as is considered normal, anyway.

    cheers, Chris Maunder

I admit it - I'm a gadget tart. A picky, high class gadget tart, but a tart nonetheless.

Well that's my case. I wanted to wipe out everything Mac on my MacPro (what's the point, hey?) but my boss wanted to keep a Mac partition, so here you go, I'm (sort of) using boot camp! Although, as far as I'm concern, I just have a plain quad pro with WindowsXP Pro. One concern though, my boss (stupidly in this case) wanted to also use a FAT file system (so that the max could read/write it). Boot camp limit the FAT partition to 32GB, glups... I'm short on space. Anyway it's kind of useless as we simply use network sharing most of the time. I'm going to reformat my drive in NTFS soon....

Oops.. In fact I haven't tried SQL Server. But I don't see why it shouldn't work fine! BootCamp is just a boot loader (it's not Paralel!!) so I'm running an ordinary Windows on Apple hardware...
