Last week I bought "Company of Heroes" for the PC, based on its excellent ratings on gamespot.com, and the fact that I love RTS games (like Age of Empires). Well, I wasn't disappointed one bit. It's literally "The Bomb". The graphics, realism (complete with flying body parts), sound, and fun factor are all great. It's also a very difficult game to master, as I've experienced. After a few of the simple Campaigns, I tried a simple one-on-one Skirmish with the CPU set to "Easy". Forget it! I still haven't been able to beat it. :-O Has anyone else played this game? Alvaro

If [God] knows what we are going to do then we have no free will and are just characters in a play written by him. Without free will, morality for humans makes no sense. Without free will and morality, any sort of punishment or reward system loses any justification. Heaven and hell would be places where [God] could watch the souls he created, predestined just for eternal happiness or agony. - Mark Thomas

No unfortunately my PC isn't quite the dogs bits to run this game, shame though, I've heard some good reviews[^] as well.

If you're stuck in a rut: 1) Consult the documentation* 2) Google it 3) Ask a sensible question 4) Try an ancient ritualistic knowledge summoning (:badger::badger::badger:) dance :jig: 5) Phone :bob: * - If the documentation is MSDN > 6.0 then forget it!

I played the demo on easy... almost got wiped out. Learned one must not neglect to build tanks lest the bad guys overrun you. Still, one sample game is all I could spare the time for.... code-frog - do you ever play games?

I played the demo. Managed to squeak through. I'm waiting for the price to drop though.
