    I think the wife has been trying to poison me again - my stomach is agony. I have tried everything I can think of to ease the pain, does anyone have any suggestions to make me feel well again. Cheeers, Steve. X| if(E_NOINTERFACE == pThat->QueryInterface(IID_IUnknown,(void**)&pUnk)) { // I aint no pUnk bitch! }

          Colin could very well be right. I had an appendicitis (sp?) attack when I was about 19. I thought it was some kind of food poisoning and waited several days to go to a doctor. By the time I got there my appendix was on the verge of rupturing. (I found out later than an uncle of mine had died as a child of the very same thing) If this has gone on for more than a day or two, get to a doctor! "There's a slew of slip 'twixt cup and lip"

            What kind of pain are we talking about here??? A sharp stabbing one (in which case remove the knife she has lodged there ;) ) or a dull one (she is probably trying to poison you -- drink loads of milk :rose: )

            Its a throbbing pain which comes and goes, has been there all day, and is at the top of my stomach by my diaphragm. if(E_NOINTERFACE == pThat->QueryInterface(IID_IUnknown,(void**)&pUnk)) { // I aint no pUnk bitch! }

                  It's most likely gas pain (indegistion and the like), or you could have a stomach ulcer. Whatch your poop for the next few days to see if it starts turning black. If so, it means your stomach is probably bleeding and you need to see the doctor quickly. Also, if the pain becomes severe, go see a doctor. I'm no doctor, but I've had bleeding stomach ulcers before, as well as gas pain, heartburn, and everything else that 'burning the candle at both ends' will give you. Best advice I've got is: if it really hurts, or starts to interfere with your life, get to the doctor. Don't just ignore it. HTH -- Russell Morris "WOW! Duodenal ulcer comes to mind as a possibility - a trip to your favorite quack is definitely in order. In the meantime, try bicarbonate of soda, aka Baking Soda (1 tsp in four oz. of water). That neutralizes acid, and usually relieves gas pressure.

                      What did you eat? If its real pain, not just bloated feeling, then could be food poisoning. Trust me, I', a Doctor. I have a lovely mean in Venice last year, steak was the best I've had - perfect. Had muscles for a starter. OMG, I was in so much pain that evening. :-D Giles
