No, I suggested it because you were acting as if. Learn to see the difference.

Btw, I got more upset about people being so blindly racist. The thought of it being a troll is a bit relieving actually. Nevertheless, it doesn't mean I can't call it for what it is. I do at least give you points for being honest about it but that only fuels my point of you needing the attention from it.

Trolling doesnt make me feel important, it is just entertaining.

Why? You aren't being creative, or clever - you've been running the same trolls, again and again, for months now. When the forum you were trolling got wise to 'em, you started hitting other forums, where the constant stream of users looking for actual discussion ensured that you'd get the responses you were looking for. To put it another way, you dynamited one little fishing hole to oblivion and started in on the neighbors' garden pond. And so, the fish perish, and the people who put their time and care into building the pond find their work damaged. All for nothing. You neither teach nor learn, and the real anglers laugh at your ineptitude. Surely you don't suppose that the notoriety you've gained speaks to your ability? From what i've seen, you're hardly new to the game - can you really be so blind that the work of talented trolls has escaped your notice? I've seen - on this very site even - trolls so brilliantly executed that i'm sure there are still people who bit and never realized they'd been hooked. One could argue that such a game is destructive even when well-played, but there's certainly little doubt as to the damage being wrought here by one so ham-fisted as yourself. Give it up. Put some sincerity into your posts, and be willing to learn. Or if you can't do that, then go sit in an attic somewhere and tear the wings off flies. It can't possibly be any less entertaining than this worn-out game.

Yup, there is nothing worse than bored little morons who feel it is their right to totally destroy the hard work of others. Chris and co have put a lot of hard work, time and money into making CP what it is: a place where people can come to discuss and learn. And now it is being plaqued by a couple of idiots who are trying their best to destroy it. There is talk about exclusive forums for elite members only, banning IPs, not allowing newcomers to post etc. Had that been done years ago a lot of the best members of CP would never have come here. And there are people who say they do not come here that often anymore because the trolls are just so bad. If those people leave CP then the whole place will go downhill until one day it is gone. One could compare it to a good city neighborhood where people want to be, want to live, work, and raise there families. Then one day some idiot starts causing trouble, dealing drugs on the corner, etc. The good people want no part of that so they leave. And eventually the neighborhood becomes just another ghetto. If Kyle and his ilk keep it up I can see CP heading down that road.

In retrospect, I should not have started this thread. I thought that by not pointing out the original troll, I would deny him further "glory". I had hoped this would evolve into a discussion about how CP should handle situations like this, as has been discussed a fair bit lately. Sadly that has not been the case. I've only given the troll a chance to troll some more. The road to hell, yadda yadda yadda... From now on when I see something abrupt and lethal happen to a thread started by a troll, I will sit on my hands and quietly smile to myself rather than bringing it to anyone's attention... Apologies to all. You just can't outsmart a troll. You can only ignore them. Sean

                      Troll n.

                      1. A (generally insincere) post to a newsgroup or message board, intended primarily to elicit responses from new or unwary readers. Also used as a label for posts on controversial topics in forums not otherwise intended for such discussions, posted to garner the inevitable knee-jerk responses.
                      2. One who engages in the posting of trolls.
                      3. A mythical creature that lives under bridges.

                      Troll v.

                      1. To post messages intended as trolls.
                      2. To fish by dragging a baited line through the water.

From what I do know of you, this is your idea of humor (maybe, could be wrong). But with that in mind... With that being said, humor is a nice avoidance technique, and some people also use humor to deal with uncomfortable situations. You haven't presented any real means of proving me wrong in this situation and it's because you can't. Now, if you decide to be honest with yourself for a moment, I'm sure you'll understand there's a reason you can't. As I said already, if this only only happened once or twice, I'd believe your words. But, it's beyond that. There's something compulsive that keeps on driving you to do this. Now, the wise thing to do would be to figure out why, and here I offer you one very possible reason.

Fyi, he's not a real doctor. I'm sure you feel much better knowing that. Really, taking pokes at me just means you're going back to being offensive and blocking because you don't like what you're hearing.

Actually there is no way i could prove to you what i am like in real life over the internet, even if i wanted to.

You don't have to. Just tell me why you do what you do, in a more deep and profound manner than just saying "it's fun."

That would depend on whether or not you use VB.

And FWIW, you should be grateful I'm taking this much time to stress my point with you. I don't generally do this (unless I'm arguing with someone, but that's a different story), and I'm quick to abandon a thread I'm bored with. And, I'll tell you right now the reason why; I really do believe you have a good head on your shoulders. You're just not on the right track as I see it. Take it for what you think it's worth.
