Neil Young is cool, CSN without him, doubtful. Who on earth is JT ?

Ah... Fire and rain. I hope to be in Toronto in late Jan or early Feb.

I have several options: 1) Do put a volume limitation. 2) Take my truck. ( No Cd Player :) Don't tell )
If it has an FM radio, I can play my mp3s on it.

Any fans of old school heavy metal, I totally recommend the new Dream Evil CD ( actually, if you hurry, the first pressing has a second CD with 5 equally killer bonus tracks ). The new Hammerfall is good, but Dream Evil is better. And yes, if you were to drive across the USA with me, I'd bring this CD along for the ride, along with the new Trivium, and the new Buckcherry.

I thought Lit Up was far and away the best cut on the first CD, but it was all fun. I'll have to check the new one out.

Do you mean you have an MP3 player that can broadcast on an FM radio? Sounds nice. Did you make it yourself, or did you get it off the shelf?

This[^] is my current metallish favourite...along with the rest of their back catalogue and Leviathan by Mastodon[^].

OK - never heard of them, what do they sound like ? I have Leviathan, but I didn't get into it, because I don't like screamo vocals. I love the new Trivium, but not the old ( for example )

They're gathered under the genre 'dronecore' - there are few (if any vocals), it's more about creation of (heavy) soundscapes, really, building up layers of sonic textures. Other similar bands are Earth[^], Isis[^] and Jesu[^]. I've always been more into the sound and shape of music rather than vocals and lyrics - that's be why I'm fond of the likes of Einstürzende Neubauten[^] and Godflesh[^].
