Not a gamer, and is neither attracted by its (and XBox's) graphics this or that. Wii seems to have a concept that appeals to me for the first time, and I hope to buy at least one - at least for a gift :) With love, Paul.
Jesus Christ is LOVE! Please tell somebody.

Yeah, Nintendo is focusing on fun and the others are focusing on processing power. I like the ides of the controller a lot. At least from the commercials it seems people gonna have to get off the couch now to play games. I just wonder how well that'll be received.

No plans yet, but if I end up with it I think I'll wait a year for it to drop in price. If I had to spend $500-$600 for pure entertainment, I think I'd rather buy a faster computer first and play games on that.

Same thing here. Price is too high right now.

Friendship, family reunions/get-together, accident-prevention (not just driving with your friend because you have nothing else to do), "I wish I could plan some games" people, "I do not have time to learn new game tricks", a little present for little Paulus/Paula - since little P will not play DVD, Blue-Ray (how do you spell it?), etc. Add to the list, we have a lot. :-D With love, Paul.

I agree, and I'm looking forward to it. Just most people are couch potatoes, I don't know if they'd enjoy having to get off it to play games now.

Yup, and that and I'd go for the Wii first. Anything more than that and I wouldn't be too productive anyway. :)

You only need a so-called research to report the obvious; it is good for diet and stress, resulting in long-life - I hope Nintendo will pick the bill. With love, Paul.

I haven't touched a (real) PS3 yet, but I can say from experience that the Wii is great fun![^] (especially if you're not that into gaming any more) Of course, if you're a hard core gamer, you'll probably decide the Wii isn't your thing, so you'll be welcome to go back to playing Counter Strike, or whatever else hard core gamers are up to nowadays. :)

I'm not even considering a PS3 until the price drops from WTF to slightly expensive. I have a Wii though, and it's the most fun I've had with a game system period.

That's not my point. Exercise is good for you too, but not everyone does it because they are too lazy. I hope Nintendo reclaims some market, but I'm still curious to see how things go.
