Hi All, Two weeks ago I installed Windows Vista Ultimate and Office 2007 on my Dell laptop. Everything works fine, except Outlook 2007. Whan a calendar reminder pops up, Outlook 2007 crashes. I just wondered if any other CPians have seen this problem or know of a solution? It is incredibly annoying and driving me mad. Thanks very much in advance, Mike Puddephat.

Nope but, I have had vista crashing all over the place; the cause WDS Windows Desktop Search. I've disable the service and everything is fine, just thought I'd make you aware if starts happening to you. The symtoms are continuous disk access usually showing against lsass.exe, but don't be fooled, open the Reliability and Performance monitor as all is revealed.

We made the buttons on the screen look so good you'll want to lick them. Steve Jobs

Thanks for the heads up. I have been suffering low level continuous disk access as well, so I will have a look at WDS. And so far, in two weeks, I have had two blue screens of death!

In fact, the Outlook 2007 beta just out of the blue melted down on my PC, and now I can't install any version of outlook at all.  Sounds like there was a lot of work between beta and release.

Sorry to hear about that! And unfortunately, I think some more work may be required to fix bugs post release. Although maybe the crash I am experiencing is an isolated case.

Yeah, I'm sure they say that about my crash, too...
