Codecs that actually work in Vista?
-
I just tried K-Lite codec pack under Vista because I need to play mpeg-2 files, and I got a BSOD. Any recommendations? I also need other codecs to work, such as xvid, divx, mpeg-4, etc. Before installing the codec, all Vista did was play the audio. After installing, *boom*. And it also has problems with vmr9 overlays in DirectX. Marc

That looks really slick. Are you using it as just a media player, or in a client/server streaming configuration? Marc
